WHEN & WHERE?
Location: New Brighton and Shirley
Hours: Flexible working hours, must be able to work evenings and weekends. 20–35 hours/week.
Starting pay rate: $23.65/hr + Staff Benefits.
What will my responsibilities include?
· Provide exceptional customer service: have a genuine interest in and care about each customer, connect, engage and build rapport with them
· Be very bubbly and friendly - ensure every single customer feels welcomed, has a fun and enjoyable experience and walks out the door with a smile on their face
· Proactively learn and maintain knowledge of all popular vape products and e-liquids, and utilise this knowledge to help customers choose a vape, explain products, vape safety and troubleshoot any problems
· Manage all aspects of stores including opening/closing, visual merchandising, stock management, marketing
· Proactively contribute to growing and supporting the business across multiple areas including marketing, business strategies and processes, and managing projects
· Committed to continuous improvement personally, as a team and as a business
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have a good understanding of vaping
· Must have quit smoking cigarettes and now vapes instead
· Super friendly, outgoing, bubbly and energetic
· Able to get along with, and great at connecting with, people from all walks of life
· Has customer service or retail experience
· Amazing customer service and communication skills
· A fast learner, able to think quickly on your feet and calm under pressure
· Trustworthy, organised, responsible, reliable and mature
· Able to work alone or as part of a team effectively
· Very organised and great at multi-tasking
· A proactive self-starter
· Wants to be involved in all aspects of growing a business (not just be a retail assistant!)
· Over 18 years old and fluent in English
Driver’s license preferable
