Battery Safety
The batteries used in vapes are high-discharge lithium-ion (Li-ion) cells. They can deliver large amounts of current quickly—which is powerful, but also potentially dangerous if not handled properly.

General Safety
Do not expose batteries to heat. Keep them out of the sun, cars, or any place they can overheat. Overheating can damage the battery and cause it to vent (leak, catch fire, or explode).
Always use the correct charger and cable that came with your device, and follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
Never leave your vape charging unattended or plugged in after it’s fully charged.
Choosing & Using Batteries
Do not use damaged batteries or ones with scratched/damaged wraps. Get them rewrapped before using.
• Only use high-quality branded batteries (e.g. Samsung, Sony, LG, Molicel).
• Make sure the batteries meet your mod’s required amp rating (e.g. minimum 25A).

Battery Storage & Transport
Always store spare batteries in a battery case.
Never carry loose batteries in your pocket or bag—metal objects like keys or coins can short them out.
Shorted batteries can catch fire or explode. This is the leading cause of vape-related injuries.
Married Batteries
What does this mean?
If your device uses more than one external battery, only use “married” batteries:
This means that they are:
• Bought together
• Same type and brand
• Charged and discharged together
Mixing batteries can damage your device or cause battery failure.

Use an External Charger
Onboard charging doesn’t always provide proper protection.
Most manufacturers recommend external charging.
Good chargers:
• Have overcharge protection
• Preserve battery life
• Are safer than cheap alternatives
Cheap chargers may lack safety features and damage your batteries or device.
