Kia ora! We’re Vapeology, a locally owned vape store holding it down for our city of Ōtautahi, Christchurch. We’ve been part of the vaping community since 2016, making us one of the OGs in the Kiwi vape scene.
Our focus: Amazing customer service. And that doesn’t just mean friendly small talk. We want our customers to leave feeling more confident in their vaping knowledge. This industry moves fast, but don’t stress—we cut through all the noise so you don’t have to.
When it comes to our products, we only stock the best of the best—top quality and designed with you in mind. Not quite sure what you need yet? That’s what we’re here for! We take vape matchmaking seriously, making sure you walk away with the perfect setup that ticks all the boxes for your personal needs.
And if all that isn’t convincing enough, we get it—money doesn’t grow on trees. That's why we focus on keeping our prices as low as possible so vaping can be more accessible to all of us (over 18 of course), making our prices some of the best in the land.

Karina

Karina’s journey with vaping began in 2011, when it helped her finally quit smoking for good. That life-changing shift sparked a deep passion to help others do the same. In 2016, with a clear vision and a whole lot of heart, she launched Vapeology (then trading as EasyAsEcigs) from the humble beginnings of her own home.
Since then, Karina has grown Vapeology into a trusted local brand, known for genuine care and expert advice. Her belief in the power of vaping to change lives is at the core of everything we do.
Her warmth, drive, and unwavering belief in the power of change continue to inspire not only customers, but the entire Vapeology team. Loved and respected by her staff, Karina leads with heart, always bringing good vibes and a grounded, people-first approach to everything she does.

Shea
The Fun Aunty
Shea’s vaping journey started in 2013, and after personally experiencing how much switching to vaping changed his life, he's been passionate about helping others do the same. Since August 2019, Shea has been an essential part of the Vapeology whānau, bringing heart, humour, and deep care into every part of his mahi.
Shea keeps everything running smoothly across our stores, supporting staff, upskilling the team, and ensuring our customers always feel welcomed and looked after. But his impact goes beyond the shop floor.
Shea wears many hats in life. Outside of Vapeology, he's on a reclamation journey within te ao Māori, and plays a leading role in Brown Town — a creative collective uplifting Māori and Pacific voices in Ōtautahi.
Cherished by the team for his warmth, authenticity, and ability to uplift those around, Shea brings aroha and intention to everything he does.
Jemma
Sass Queen #1
Jemma’s vaping journey began in 2019, and since joining the Vapeology team in February 2023, she’s quickly become a loved and valued leader in our crew. With her bubbly energy, empathy, and genuine care for others, Jemma creates a space where both customers and teammates feel supported and uplifted.
She’s easy to talk to, always ready with a smile or a laugh, and leads by example with kindness and calm. Whether she’s helping a customer find the perfect setup or making sure the team is feeling good and confident, Jemma brings warmth and heart to everything she does.
Outside of work, Jemma enjoys getting lost in a good book, gaming, and vibing out to music — a mix of chill and fun that perfectly reflects who she is.
Sammy
Spoon/Spacehead
Sammy has been on his vaping journey since 2017 and brings over 2 years of vape retail experience to the Vapeology whānau. He joined us in November 2024 and, as a 2IC and retail assistant, he’s a steady, creative presence in the team — always curious, patient, and ready to help.
With a deep love for art in all its forms, the natural world, and spiritual exploration, Sammy brings a calm and reflective energy to the workplace. His eye for detail, thoughtful nature, and creative flair make him a go-to for both team members and customers seeking support or inspiration.
Whether he’s guiding someone through their first vape setup or contributing ideas behind the scenes, Sammy approaches everything he does with intention and care — making Vapeology a more grounded and welcoming space for all.
Charlize
Anxious Hot Mess
Charlize has been vaping since 2021 and brings 3 years of solid vape retail experience to the Vapeology team. She joined us in November 2024 and is known for her kindness, great sense of humour, and ability to connect with people in a way that feels relaxed and real.
Whether she’s helping a regular customer or guiding someone through their first vape, Charlize brings understanding, patience, and a light-hearted energy to every interaction.
Outside of work, she loves diving into video games, bingeing a good TV series, and getting creative with art — all of which reflect her fun and thoughtful personality.
Charlize helps make Vapeology a space where people feel welcome, supported, and never judged.
TaKaanewa

TK has been part of the vaping world since 2019 and brings more than 4 years of hands-on vape retail experience to the Vapeology whānau. Since joining us in May 2025, he’s become a key part of the team — dependable, approachable, and always bringing good energy to the store.
He’s known for his sense of humour, genuine kindness, and calm, relaxed nature that puts both customers and teammates at ease. Whether he’s helping someone choose their first vape or stepping up to support the team as 2IC, TK brings patience, knowledge, and care to everything he does.
Outside of work, TK loves getting creative with art, catching up with mates, and eating the best food. He’s a natural people person who helps make Vapeology a welcoming and uplifting place to be.
Miss Misty
The Best B*tch
Misty joined the Vapeology team in August 2022 and has been running the show ever since (just don’t tell Karina). As our official shop dog, she takes her role of greeting customers very seriously — offering belly rub requests to some and suspicious barks to others (especially if you’re wearing a hat and look a bit dodgy).
She’s a beloved part of the team, always looking for a lap to curl up on — usually while someone’s trying to do important work. Misty reluctantly joins in the Halloween and Christmas dress-ups with the crew, and while she may act unimpressed, deep down we know she loves the attention.
She also leaves fluffy little reminders of her presence in the form of fur all over the floor — which the team constantly has to vacuum up.
With her big personality and loyal heart, Misty brings joy, laughter, and a whole lot of fur to Vapeology every day.
